About Sukha Health
Katy’s Journey of Health Transformation
For over 30 years, I have worked in health, beauty, and wellness, helping people feel more confident, comfortable, and connected to themselves. My journey began as a salon owner and massage therapist, where I developed a deep appreciation for the relationship between the body, nourishment, and overall health.
My own health challenges~including digestive issues, joint pain, breast cancer, hormonal imbalances, and menopause~ultimately led me to ask deeper questions. Why does illness arise? How do we return to balance? What does it truly mean to heal?
Those questions led me to Ayurveda.
Through Ayurveda, I discovered that some of the most profound changes come from the simplest practices. Nourishing food, daily rhythms, seasonal living, and understanding the unique needs of our bodies became the foundation of my own healing journey.
Today, I am a certified Ayurvedic Health Counsellor and Ayurvedic Chef. I am passionate about helping people cultivate lasting health through personalised guidance, practical education, and nourishing food that can be enjoyed and shared with others.
I believe lasting health begins with the relationship we cultivate with ourselves~how we nourish our bodies, care for our health, and connect with the people around us. Through consultations, community, workshops, and recipes, my intention is to help people develop a deeper relationship with their health while discovering that they do not have to navigate that journey alone.
I look forward to welcoming you into the Sukha community.
Of all the tools Ayurveda offers, food has remained my greatest passion. I have seen firsthand how nourishing meals can transform energy, digestion, mood, confidence, and our relationship with health. Becoming an Ayurvedic Chef allowed me to combine my love of cooking with my desire to help others experience health in a practical and enjoyable way.
Nourishment is where true health transformation begins.
