Hibiscus & Mint Cooling Infusion

A vibrant, refreshing infusion of tart hibiscus and cooling fresh mint, created to bring a little ease on warm days. Enjoy it chilled as a beautiful, hydrating alternative to sweet drinks.

Serves:
1-2 Cups

1 tbsp dried hibiscus petals
2 sprigs fresh mint
500–750ml water
Maple syrup, to taste (optional)

INGREDIENTS

Add the hibiscus petals and fresh mint to the water and leave to infuse for at least 2 hours, or overnight for a deeper flavour.

Strain before drinking. Dilute with additional room-temperature water to your preferred strength and, if desired, add a small drizzle of maple syrup for gentle sweetness

AYURVEDIC WISDOM:

Hibiscus is naturally cooling and can be especially supportive during the warmer months of the year. It helps to cool the body's core temperature and is a wonderful choice whenever you feel overheated, flushed, irritable, impatient, or mentally agitated.

Combined with fresh mint, this refreshing infusion offers a simple way to bring a little ease and balance back into the body on hot summer days.

Enjoy 1–2 cups throughout the day, preferably at room temperature rather than ice cold, allowing the body to cool gently without disturbing digestion.

HERE’S HOW:

Enjoy chilled throughout a warm afternoon, with a few fresh mint leaves added just before serving.
